This is a wideband wireless AV tap detector, so no private conversations are being recorded. You can't be videotaped either as it allows no unwired cameras to transmit audio sound back to the surveillance device.

The detachable lens allows it to detect wired devices by identifying the hidden lens all around the areas thanks to the red filter that recognises a specific lens
