The VIM-PIR200 is the newest member of the VIM-PIR series. It's a trail camera that's powered by solar panels. The trail camera comes with batteries, but you can easily add AA backup batteries for a more extended recording period if necessary.

panel. This wildlife camera is ideal for photographing animals on any day or night, regardless of illumination. For recording, a 24MP Still Image Sensor is used. The inclusion of a 24MP image sensor improves photography and video quality. A 24MP image sensor lets you capture more detail and precision in the environment and with the creatures you're recording, resulting in crisper, higher-resolution footage. 

Sensor for Passive Infrared Detection

Because of the sensor's ultrafast trigger speed of more than 0.3s, a photo or video capture begins immediately when an animal or unknown item passes in front of the PIR sensors, regardless of its size or form. PIR (passive infrared) sensors detect movement and body temperature to determine whether or not something is moving or active enough to activate the sensors (thermal). 

For night vision, infrared lighting with a wavelength of 850nm is employed. The Infrared Night Vision system senses its surroundings at night using infrared led lights that can only be seen in the infrared spectrum and at the 850nm wavelength. Using this wavelength, the trail camera can identify and differentiate animals at night from a wider distance.
