Some things you want watched are not worth wiring a camera to: a shed, a caravan door, the annexe, a toolbox. Sit this where it can see the doorway and it picks up movement out to 10 metres, then sounds a 130dB siren. Swap the mode and it watches for a lid opening instead, or for a door being rattled. 80 to 100 hours a charge, no app to install and nothing to wire in.
Key Features & Benefits
- Sees movement to 10 metres - Point it at a doorway, a gate or the front of the annexe and it sounds when someone crosses in front of it.
- Knows when a lid comes up - Drop it in a toolbox, a drawer or a suitcase and the light sensor fires as soon as the lid opens and light gets in.
- Feels a door being tried - Hang it on the handle and it reacts to the handle being pushed or rattled.
- 130dB is a lot in a quiet caravan park - Loud enough to wake you and to be heard well beyond your own annexe.
- Runs for days, not hours - 80 to 100 hours per charge, then 1 to 2 hours to fill it back up over USB-C.
- Two lights in one band - The white strip on the front runs up to 6 hours as a torch, and the same strip flashes red and white as a warning light for a night ride or walk.
- Panic button on the side - Press SOS and the siren goes straight away, whichever mode it happens to be in. It is the lower of the two side buttons and both are the same size, so find it once before you need it.
- Tells you if your bag walks off - Pair it to your phone over Bluetooth and it sounds when the two get about 10 metres apart. It is an alert, not a way of finding something already gone, and the phone cannot switch the alarm on or off.
- Goes on a bag, a bike or a door - The 18 cm strap suits a rucksack strap or a handlebar. The 31 cm one reaches right around a door handle. The lanyard is already fitted.
- Pick one job at a time - It watches for movement, or light, or a shake, but not all three at once. Choose whichever suits where it is going and give it 10 seconds to settle.
- Not one for the rain - There is no weather seal on the case, so keep it under an awning or inside rather than out in it.

Real-World Scenarios
- The caravan overnight. Sat inside facing the door, or strapped to the annexe zip. Anything moving in front of it wakes you before it reaches the van.
- The shed and the tools in it. Nothing to wire in, so it goes on a shelf facing the door and comes down again when you want it somewhere else.
- A holiday rental. Looped over the door handle overnight, or dropped into the bag you leave in the room while you are out.
How It Works
- Turn it on - Push the slider on the side across. The SOS button works from then on, whatever else you do.
- Choose what sets it off - Tap M to move through movement, light, shake, flashing light and Bluetooth. The blue light goes out after 10 seconds and it is armed.
- Put it where it matters - Stand it up, strap it on, or clip it to something. Hold M down for the torch whenever you need it.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will a pet set it off?
Yes. The infrared sensor reads body heat and movement, and animals trigger it the same way people do. In a caravan or a room with a dog or a cat, use the vibration or light mode instead and save infrared for spaces the animal cannot get into.
2. Does it need WiFi, a hub or an app?
No. It runs by itself with nothing to connect it to. Bluetooth pairs directly in your phone settings if you want the separation alert, but the sensors and the siren all work without a network, without an account and without a monthly cost.
3. Can I leave it outside?
Only under cover. Nothing on the case is sealed against weather, and both the charging socket and the sound outlet sit open to the air. An awning, the annexe or a shed is fine. Left out in the rain it will take on water eventually.
4. Can I use it in a hotel or a rental?
Yes, and it is one of the better uses for it. Nothing gets screwed to a wall or stuck to a door, so there is nothing to explain when you check out. Strap it to the handle, or stand it facing the entry, then pack it and go.
5. What if someone just picks it up and walks off with it?
The vibration mode goes off the moment it is lifted, which is usually enough to make somebody drop it. There is no tracking inside it though, so if it does disappear there is no way to locate it. Put it somewhere out of easy reach.
Lawful Use
It is yours to use on your own property and your own things. Deliberately setting off a siren to frighten or harass somebody is against the law here. If you are in shared accommodation, let the people you share with know it is armed.
