How to Set It Up

FAQ

1. Do I need internet at home?

Yes. The hub connects to your home router via ethernet or WiFi. Without internet, you can't view cameras remotely or receive push alerts. Local SD card recording still works if internet drops temporarily.

2. How far away can I put the cameras?

Up to 500 metres from the hub in open areas. Walls and dense foliage reduce range. For a typical suburban property, the full block is covered easily.

3. Do I need a subscription?

No. Each camera records to its own micro SD card (up to 128GB, sold separately) with no ongoing fees. Cloud storage is available as an optional paid add-on through the app if you want off-site backup.

4. What happens at night?

Cameras switch to infrared automatically in the dark. For colour night footage, Super Night Vision mode activates white fill LEDs. You choose which mode to use in the app.

5. Can I share access with family?

Yes. The app has a device sharing feature. Multiple phones can view the same cameras at the same time.

6. Does the hub record footage?

No. The hub is a relay – it extends your WiFi signal to the cameras. Each camera records independently to its own SD card. The hub needs to stay powered on and connected to your router for remote access.
